WoB – Wegfahren ohne Bezahlen (driving away without paying) – CL-Electronic has set up this software to counteract fuel fraud. The software is a combination of license plate recognition, point of sale and if desired also other functions of the regular software. If the employee has to unlock a fuel pump manually because the previous customer did not pay, the software automatically accesses the last license plate numbers and places a marker at these time windows. Due to the PoS it is also possible to definitively detect sham purchases, the customer enters the store and pays only for a small product and forgets about the fuel. With the time stamp, license plate number and if necessary facial recognition / Appearance Search this information can be stored and exported directly to the police. Furthermore, it is possible to identify the forgetful customer via the software the next time he enters the store, or by means of the license plate number, and to draw attention to the oversight.
