Fisheye Cameras

Fisheye cameras are used to monitor smaller areas with a single camera. Areas of application include (self-scan) checkout areas in supermarkets or back-office checkout areas. The distance to the object is limited due to the design, but this type of camera offers a spherical, hemispherical viewing area. Also due to the design, no optical zoom is available, but the high resolutions offer good possibilities for digital zoom.
